Thank you for visiting my blog. It has been a long coming project to capture some of our most interesting travel destinations and stories me and my now husband have shared. I'll be attempting to tell you a bit more about places we have been to, food we have tried, but also shared lots of tips and advice if you like us prefer to travel on a budget and don't mind occasional inconveniences.

Few words about myself 

My name is Gosia and I was born in Szczecin, Poland although I frequently don't know what to answer when someones asks me 'where are you from?' This question, in my opinion, carries so much more than curiosity about the place you were born. Where do you live, what has shaped you in terms of your values and experiences are all the immediate questions that come to my mind when someone asks me this innocent question. My biggest passions in life are travelling, learning languages (I speak seven - see the title of this post to figure out for yourself what these are) and volunteering.  I have lived in five countries of the world (Poland, Scotland, USA, Moldova, Belgium and England) and visited 54 so far. Hopefully one day me and my husband would have visited all the countries in the world - at least that's the plan. I am a compassionate vegan food and coffee lover. One of my favourite life mottos is: "Fill your life with adventures, not things. Have stories to tell not stuff to show." And that is the lifestyle I adopted when I moved away from home 12 years ago now and hope never to change.
